A few words, notes and other wee jems than can sometimes show us another part of the great landscape of the Tao of Master Cheng.

Cheng Man Ching would say "There are no secrets, but if there was one, it would be that hands don't move."

Wolfe Lowenthal, Summer 2007, Stirling Scotland.

Tai Chi is the art of using mind

Keep the structure

Relax and sink

Turn like a millstone

Feel the movement from within

First synchronise and then connect the movements

Send an internal wave of sinking through mind and body

The base is moving the body; the body is moving the arms

Lower body is like a river; the upper body is like a cloud

Different destinations but arrive at the same time

Internal changes come from below

Stillness in the movement

Fast is slow; slow is fast

Wee Kee Jin in Holland 2006

The morality is in the chi.  When Lao Tzu says, "The sage treats the
people as straw dogs," he's referring to this idea.  To the taoist,
justice does not exist in the realm of judgment, but in balance.

 Wolfe Lowenthal, Salamanca 2008
